The answer is yes providing the following conditions prevail.

1. Adequate warmth in the soil to allow growth
2. Reasonable levels of rainfall if the area cannot be watered
3. Adequate sunlight again to promote growth and ensure strong rooting

Don’t lay turf if the ground is water-logged or if there is likely to be a frost.
